The Alberta Motor Association’s Calgary office underwent an upgrade in 2024 to create a more welcoming, acoustically comfortable environment for both staff and visitors. The design objective was to elevate the workspace experience across public-facing areas and private consultation zones—enhancing both form and function.
To achieve this, Zintra acoustic solutions were specified throughout the space, offering a seamless combination of noise control and visual cohesion.
At the heart of the project is the Zintra Baffle System Square, installed in a custom colour sequence to create a striking ceiling feature in the office’s central community area. These Baffles not only serve as a bold design statement but also significantly reduce reverberation—supporting clarity and comfort in a high-traffic, open space.
To complement the open plan, Zintra Pattern Panels Shard were installed on ceiling-mounted sliding tracks in a coordinated palette that echoes the custom baffle colours. These movable panels provide flexible acoustic privacy within consultation areas, offering visual separation while preserving natural light and maintaining an open, cohesive design aesthetic.
The result is a revitalised, modern workplace that supports focused interactions, promotes wellbeing, and reflects AMA’s commitment to innovation and service excellence.
