At BDO's new Montreal workplace, acoustic comfort is an essential part of the employee experience. Designed by Lemay Montreal in partnership with Gestion Canaan and delivered with our Canadian distributor Crown Surface Solutions, the project showcases how acoustic solutions can become a defining architectural feature.
A Feature Ceiling with Purpose
Featuring the Zintra Baffle Systems Swell in Smoke and a custom selection of Zintra Print Studio colours, the ceiling delivers a dramatic ombré effect that brings the designer's vision to life while providing effective acoustic control for the workplace.
Working from the original concept renderings, Crown Surface Solutions collaborated closely with the design team to develop a bespoke Zintra solution that met both the aesthetic and acoustic objectives of the space, transforming the ceiling into a functional architectural centrepiece.
Enhancing Workplace Wellbeing
Designed to support wellness, flexibility, and collaboration, BDO's office combines natural light, greenery, and sustainable materials to create a healthy and inspiring workplace. The Zintra ceiling system complements these biophilic design elements by reducing noise and improving speech clarity, helping to enhance focus, productivity, and overall employee wellbeing.
Made from 100% recyclable PET and featuring low VOC emissions, Zintra also contributes to healthier indoor environments while supporting the project's sustainability goals.
